ABOUT MOVIE

To please her brothers and grandfather, Zuzanna uses her grandmother's magical story hat and the power of her imagination. Her fairy-tale world sparkles with adventure and humor, but along the way she encounters a gray cat, a not-so-friendly creature, a flying man, and other wonders. The stories of Czech author Goldflam have been brought to life in this heartwarming puppet animation for the whole family by four directors: Sukups from the Czech Republic, Pašs from Slovakia, Vidmar from Slovenia, and Rozek from France. It has been screened at the Berlinale, Annecy and elsewhere around the world, and has been nominated for two European Film Academy awards.

The film is narrated in Latvian.
