Sisters Nora and Agnes meet their estranged father again, the charismatic Gustav, once a renowned director, who offers theatre actress Nora a role in his new film with which he hopes to regain his fame. When Nora refuses, she soon learns that the role has been given to an enthusiastic young Hollywood actress. The sisters must not only deal with their complicated relationship with their father but also handle the American star who has found herself caught in the middle of their complex family dynamics.

Movie is in Norwegian and English with subtitles in Latvian.
