From September 25 to October 5, short film enthusiasts around the world will experience a unique cinematic event – the Manhattan Short Festival. Over the course of one week, audiences in more than 500 cities worldwide, including Latvia’s largest cities, will watch and rate ten carefully selected short films from various countries, voting for their favorite.

Festival attendees describe the international short film festival Manhattan Short as an exciting and inspiring way to spend time with friends – watching ten different short films, discussing them, and sharing impressions of their favorite. When evaluating the films, they often compare their choices with global results, creating a special sense of connection with audiences around the world.

"Manhattan Short is an event that brings film lovers together not only as viewers but also as equal members of the jury. It’s a special moment when everyone collectively chooses which film will win," says director Stanislavs Tokalovs.
