Chuck (played by Tom Hiddleston) seems like a completely ordinary man at first glance. But one day, his name suddenly becomes known throughout the entire city. Messages saying “Thank you, Charles Krantz!” appear everywhere – on billboards, online, on the radio and television, even on the walls and windows of homes. No one knows who he is, but rumors begin to spread: if Chuck dies, the whole world might collapse with him.
